The Suit Makes The Man (Part 2)

Before you check out this post, you might want to take a look at Part 1 of this list. And now, lets continue with The Panel Biter's Top 5 Iron Man Armors!

#2. The Bleeding Edge Armor
This armor first appeared in "Iron Man #25, 2010" as an upgrade from Tony's Extremis armor. This armor was created with nanotechnology and is actually stored inside Tony's body, being assembled solely by thought. Since the armor forms over Tony's body, accessories like firearms and boxing gloves could be integrated into the design of the armor. This suit can also take the form of any previous Iron Man for certain situations. When Tony temporarily retired from his Iron Man role, he had this nanotechnological armor surgically removed from his body.

#1. Endo-Sym Armor

This is the most recent entree into Iron Man's wardrobe, being the debut armor of "The Superior Iron Man #1, 2014". This sleek new armor is comprised of liquid metal and based off alien symbiots like Venom and Carnage. Tony hold a telepathic connection to this suit and can control it while either inside or outside of it. Like The Bleeding Edge Armor, it can take alternate forms for different instances. He can even surround his enemies in this suit and render them helpless to move.

With 51 armors in total, we can easily see exactly were Tony's fortune goes, less on charity and more on fashion. One of the best features about Iron Man is his progression in functionality, going from manually assembled armors to biologically-stored nano suits. With Iron Man armors advancing further and further, exactly where can Tony Stark go next? Shapeshifting skin armor? Environmentally armor formed from telekinesis? Shrunken armors contained in Pokeball-like plastic pods!? Don't ask me, I don't even know the guy. Thanks for reading!
