@YoungJustice

So, the current Teen Titans comic sucks, the current "Teen Titans Go" cartoon sucks, the last good show "Young Justice" was cancelled a long time ago with no hope of coming back, and the next Titan book "Titans Hunt" isn't coming out for a while. Taking all that in, I have an idea for a potentially awesome comic book following the teenaged heroes of The DC Universe. This is my pitch for "YoungJustice.com".
Megan Morse lives with her elderly foster parents in New York City and she tries to live a normal life, the only thing making that impossible is the fact that she's a martian among humans. Literally. Megan is actually M'Gan M'ors from Planet Mars and ran to Earth shortly after her idol The Martian Manhunter arrived on Earth. She believed she could be a hero, but after being captured and revealing her identity as a White Martian to the US government, M'Gan has hidden herself. She tries to be a hero again in New York, using the name "Ms Martian", but struggles to get the hang of it. Megan thinks, "If I'm having trouble being a teenaged hero, there must be others". So, Ms Martian creates a website where herself and heroes around the world can advise each other and help each other grow. This website is called "YoungJustice.com".
Every issue of this book would be narrated by Ms Martian (@HelloMegan) and whoever is the focus of that issue. For example, one issue may follow Superboy (@DontMessWithTheS) and one of his many challenges as a teenaged superhero. The two talk with their online usernames and the story is resolved with a lesson about being a hero, followed by a comment from whichever hero is featured in the next issue. This kind of formula would make every issue different and expand the character of Ms Martian, who hasn't made a significant appearance in the DC's New 52 universe yet. Characters like Static, Blue Beetle, Skitter, Bunker, Aqualad and Solstice would get some much needed attention and matured heroes like Arsenal, Hawk and Dove and any of the Robins could have their moments too. The anthology aspect coupled with the trendy twitter lingo would make this book feel tangible without mocking young people. This book would remind older readers of the teenaged heroes they used to love while also introducing new readers to the pantheon of teenaged heroes DC has to offer. Sidekicks, grown heroes and legacy characters would be significantly boosted in notoriety thanks to a book like this. Each issue could even be written by someone who has masterfully written for whatever character is featured. Jimmy Palmiotti could write a Starfire issue, Patrick Gleason could write a Robin issue, Greg Weisman could write literally any teenaged superhero!
In the aftermath of this book, a new Teen Titans book called "The New Teen Titans" featuring Ms Martian, Robin (Damian Wayne), Static, Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) and Solstice can be created. Five characters who we've never seen on a team before working together and making up for the terrible lineage the New 52 Teen Titans left behind. It would be a couple of series that'd be remembered as "that one time DC tried something new" and I'm sure fans would love them for it.
Thanks for reading.
